homecoming
A downloadable record
Homecoming is a relatively short and cozy solo journaling game about finding your way home with your trusty map and whatever supplies you've brought from home and acquired on your travels. The prompts are open-ended to fit whatever setting/time period you have in mind, and you can answer with as much or as little detail as you wish. The goal is to reflect on each prompt, how far you've come, and what lies ahead. Maybe you'll learn something about yourself along the way.
The first page contains instructions and some prompts to help figure out exactly who you are, traveler. Why did you leave, and where did you go?
You only need a few things to record your travels:
- Something to write with
- A deck of cards (or a random number generator up to 16)
- A coin to flip (or anything with two faces)
- Imagination
Your journey ends once you draw the Ace of Hearts. (or...maybe something else?) Welcome back, traveler. It's good to have you home.

Somehow, I found time during finals to work on this project. I'm graduating college next week as of publishing this, so this is really a chance for me to look back on how far I've come as well, all the moments I almost gave up, and why I'm still going.
All writing, design, and art was done by me!
